If you follow Glenfiddich's social media, then you'll already be well aware of what's going on. However, if you don't, then I've got some exciting news for you!
Glenfiddich has recently announced a new, beautifully stylized bottle that will be hitting the shelves in the coming weeks, starting with the Glenfiddich 12 year and 15 year Solera Vat.
As you can see in the photo, you'll first notice the prominent position of the age statement, highly noticeable in gold on the crisp, white label. This draws attention to the age, where past bottles haven't had the age featured as significantly.
The top of the bottle features William Grant's signature, also featured in gold. Just beneath this is a small, but eye catching red banner once again featuring the age statement and the iconic golden stag.
My personal favourite addition to the bottle is the etched "V", just below the centrepiece of the bottle, the Glenfiddich stag, bold and beautiful in gold. The "V" and stag combination are meant to symbolize the Gaelic translation of Glenfiddich, "Valley of the Deer".
This daring new bottle will work to draw in new fans of the world's best selling Single Malt Whisky, while reinvigorating the long-standing and loyal fan base.
Keep an eye out for these beauties hitting liquor shelves near you soon!
